Step 1: Create Zap

In order to integrate Airtable with Videopeel, go to the Zapier dashboard and create a Zap connecting the two apps so when a New Campaign Submission is received, a new record is inserted in Airtable:

Step 2: Connect VideoPeel Account

You will be presented with the following screen:

Click the bar with the VideoPeel icon:

Step 3: Test Trigger

After authorizing Zapier with the API Key generated in the Settings Page of your VideoPeel application,

you will be prompted to filter by campaigns or you can leave the field clear in order to set up this trigger for all campaigns.

Then you will see the step to test the trigger:

This is a step Zapier does to make sure that the connection is working. Just press Test Trigger and Zapier will fetch some of your recent campaign submissions (it will display them as raw data, so don’t worry if you can’t make too much sense from it) and show them to you. You can press the Continue button as soon as it appears:

Step 4: Connect Airtable account

After testing the VideoPeel trigger, you will see the following screen:

Follow similar steps to Step 3 in order to connect your Airtable account. You will need your account’s API key, which you can get on the Airtable Account page.

Step 5: Set up Airtable action

After connecting the account, you will now be presented with the specific settings for the Airtable action itself:

First, you need to select your Airtable Base. The input should display all your existing Airtable bases, from the account you connected.

Next, you need to select a Table from the Base, in order to feed the data into.

After selecting a table, depending on what columns you have in there, you will see new inputs to fill out, like so:

As you can see in the example above, that specific table had inputs for Name, Flagged and Assets. On this step, you can configure how your campaign submission data is sent to Airtable. For each one of the available fields on the table, you can type in either a custom text value or you can select specific fields from your VideoPeel campaign submissions to be sent to the table. For instance:

On the example above, I am adding the First Name field of my Campaign into the Name field of the Airtable. And then the Video Collector One field (which asks for a video) is sent to the Assets table column. You can set this up however you like, just make sure you have a look at what fields you have in your VideoPeel campaign in order to add them here.

Step 6: Test Action

After having all the settings ready, the last step is just doing a test run to make sure it’s working as expected:

Follow through and click Test action. If everything is good, you can just click Publish Zap.
